If you installed Petz/Babyz on the default folders (Program Files), you won’t be able to see any of your adopted petz, photos, etc. when you try to access them later using my computer, paint, etc. That means you can’t adopt petz/adopt out petz, sort show photos, enter shows, etc. Even making folders unhidden doesn’t help. Even though you can’t see the folders, they DO exist (and are visible in some random programs).
The best thing to do is to install the game(s) in C:/ instead of program files to start with, but if you haven’t, you’ll need to rescue your files. Here is a quick and easy way to do it!
- Open up 7-Zip (free program)
- Navigate to the location of the game (ie. C:\Program Files\PF.Magic\Petz 4\)
- Right click the game folder and select Copy To…
- Copy to desktop or documents or wherever you want to put the game
